Countville

Countville is a 100% free farming game for kids with the added bonus of counting. Kids can learn number recognition and counting up to 10 while building a beautiful farm. They can learn the different steps involved in making a chicken coop, cow pasture, fish pond, onion farm, carrot farm, apple orchard and lettuce farm. Each step or task is based on counting with colorful graphics to keep the children involved. Hence, it is an interesting and enjoyable way for preschoolers and kindergarten kids to learn number recognition and counting while playing their most favorite game i.e. farming.
The farming tasks are easy for little fingers with vibrant, animated graphics and the cute farmer girl is always there to help throughout each step with vocal guidance.
Building the different structures in the farm is not the only thing the wonderful game offers. Once a structure has been completed such as an apple orchard, kids can visit their marvelous apple orchard to pick a certain number of apples. They can collect eggs from the chicken coop, fill up milk bottles from the cows, catch fish from the pond and harvest onions, carrots and lettuce all the while absorbing in their little minds the concept of counting. What a fantastic way to learn to count while doing such enjoyable tasks!

How to Make your Children Early Readers of English

The following steps are a sure way to make your children early readers of English: 1. If you want your children to start reading English quickly, then start teaching them phonics at a young age (3-4 yrs). Some parents start earlier than 3 years but this is most probably because the children have an early focus from the beginning and have an easier temperament for learning. So, don’t worry if your 2.5 yrs old is not grasping the phonics concept 😊; this just means that he/she is not ready yet. I recommend the Jolly Phonics order as this order has been scientifically proven to be easier for younger children. This is the order 👇 When my son was 3+ yrs and started doing phonics for the first time, I had difficulty in teaching him the different sounds. I made my first mobile app just to make the learning process easier for him and more colorful ☺️. So, you can use this 100% FREE app available on Google Play Store. You will need an android device to download it from Google Play Store a

Preschool Worksheets for Maths Concepts

This is the third edition of my preschool worksheets that teach critical skills needed for brain development. They are essential for logical thinking so I call these worksheets logic games   😉 These worksheets introduce essential maths concepts such as weight, volume, size, height, length, and quantity in such a way that can be easily grasped by a 3.5-5 yrs old child. If your child doesn't have a pencil grip yet, no worries: do it with a thick crayon. If they are not ready for crayons, don't pressurize; do these worksheets verbally. These worksheets are colorful and fun so I am hoping that the children will be quite cooperative doing them 😉.  Also, you can download my  Countville App  for your children for very entertaining number recognition and counting practice.   Download PDF Part 1 of logic games Part 2 of logic games Please like my Facebook page and Instagram page for more educational resources and tips. Pre-writing Activities for Preschoolers

Before children start to write letters and numbers, they need to do tracing activities and learn to draw straight lines, curves, slanting lines, etc. This will help them in writing the alphabets and numbers as both alphabets and numbers can be broken down into straight lines, slanting lines and curves.  I hope the following  worksheets  will help your children in mastering the tracing of lines and curves so that it will be easier for them to transition to proper writing. I believe that children shouldn't be forced to do these tracing activities until their hand muscles are fully developed and strong. Ideally, children shouldn't be asked to write with pencils until they are at least 3 yrs old. My recommendation: give them crayons  🖍️  for the following worksheets in the beginning and later, give a pencil    ✏️  for the same worksheets 😊.
