Creative Writing for Children (Insects)

You shouldn't expect children to suddenly start writing amazing content. First, you need to provide them with enough information 📖 . All children are obsessed with insects 🦗and arachnids 🦂 so why not start with them first?

I have compiled some interesting information about many intriguing insects and arachnids. This information is simple but exciting and can be easily absorbed by little minds.
Read it with your children and then, ask them to write on the provided worksheets. You will be amazed by the amount of interest they will show in this exercise 😊🚀
I believe that every writing piece about any type of animal should answer the following questions:
It should start with an important fact about the animal.
It should tell what the animal looks like.
It should tell where the animal lives.
It should tell what the animal eats.
It should end with an interesting fact about the animal or the writer's own feelings towards the animal 😊
I have provided questions in the worksheets with a word bank so that the children get used to answering in this pattern. Soon, they will be able to write about any animal methodically 😊

Gone are the days of A for apple, B for Ball...this is the time of synthetic phonics where each alphabet has a sound. Now, you don't teach children the name of the letter but the sound made by the letter. A has the sound that comes when we say the word apple, b has the sound that comes when we say bed, and so on and so forth. There are different systems of synthetic phonics but I have felt that Jolly Phonics is the best system. In fact, I made my first mobile app for my son based on the Jolly Phonics style of teaching.
