Learn Fruits in Urdu

Urdu is an important language as it is spoken by almost 100 million people. It is the national language of Pakistan. However, with the advent of Youtube, children spend most of their time watching videos on it. Most of the content on Youtube and even TV channels is in English; hence, children are learning English faster than their mother tongues like Urdu. We have to make the learning of these languages more entertaining to fascinate the young minds of today.

I have designed these cute, colorful fruit flash cards that are 2 in 1. They have the fruit names written in both English and Urdu to help the children in associating the two languages. Have fun while using these vibrant cards to fascinate and teach your children.

Cut ✂️chart paper or recycled cardboard in A4 size. Print ðŸ–¨️the fruit names flashcards on A4 size papers. Paste the printed copy on the cut chart paper and then, cut each individual flashcard around the dotted line. You will have store-bought quality flashcards 😊! You can also make them waterproof by covering them with transparent tape on both sides.

Gone are the days of A for apple, B for Ball...this is the time of synthetic phonics where each alphabet has a sound. Now, you don't teach children the name of the letter but the sound made by the letter. A has the sound that comes when we say the word apple, b has the sound that comes when we say bed, and so on and so forth. There are different systems of synthetic phonics but I have felt that Jolly Phonics is the best system. In fact, I made my first mobile app for my son based on the Jolly Phonics style of teaching.
