Read and Write about Colours

Hello friends,

Let's talk about colours today. Colours play an essential role in the development of a child's knowledge and understanding. They can influence mood and behavior; Colour is one of the first ways your preschooler starts differentiating between things that they see. Colours have their own language; they actually speak with the kids.

Hence, today's post is about reading and writing about colours. You know how much I love making my unique reading comprehension worksheets but this time I made them more creative. I am talking about colours in the language of the poets...using rhymes to attract children's attention.

I have tried to cover the basic colors: red, green, blue, yellow, and orange.
The poems are accompanied by cute, vibrant images so you can even print them out as posters for sticking on school walls or just print them for the children so they can have fun reading them and answering the comprehension questions.
