Jolly Phonics Group 3 Worksheets

Hello friends,

I am back with Group 3 Jolly Phonics worksheets.

Jolly Phonics is one of the most popular systems of synthetic phonics. Gone are the days when children were taught to read by just going directly from letter names to words. For example, A is for apple, B is for ball, and so on. Now, children are taught the sounds of the alphabet first. They are taught that the letter A makes the sound /a/. This is the first sound that comes from our mouth when we say "ant".
Jolly Phonics has divided the English alphabet into seven groups and these groups don't follow the traditional order of A, B, C.
The following image shows the seven groups of Jolly Phonics along with an extra group taught by my Phonics app on the Google Play Store.

My app called Phonics Fun is 100% Free so you can download it and use it on all your Android devices. It is the perfect way to master phonics as you can hear phonics sounds and also test learning by playing many matching games.
So, coming back to my worksheets...These worksheets also follow the same pattern as my group 1 and group 2 worksheets. Group 3 covers the sounds: g, o, u, l, f, b. There are matching, coloring, writing, and blending activities.

If you like doing worksheets with your children, then as a parent I would personally recommend purchasing an inktank printer such as HP Smart -Tank 6001 Wireless Cartridge-Free all in one printer. There are no cartridges just ink bottles and believe me, we have been using the printer constantly for the last 3 years with no refills.
I am in love with how economical and efficient these new ink tank printers are; the printer has made my life so much easier as I don't have to rush to the market to get printouts and the printer doesn't even require refills (for at least 2 years): a win-win situation! The following printer is available on Amazon so just click here to purchase it from the comfort of your home and get it delivered to your home easily and conveniently.

And a printer is incomplete without a set of economical A4 size printer paper. Do check out this great deal by Amazon: 500 sheets of A4 sized printer paper, a must in my home!

For younger children who are still struggling with pencil grip, I recommend using crayons for these worksheets and no one can do crayons as well as Crayola. Their washable crayons are so convenient as you can easily clean crayon accidents from clothes or walls😊. You can conveniently get the crayons delivered to your home without leaving the comfort of your home; physical shopping is such a hassle with younger children.

If you want proper step-by-step instructions for helping your children read then have a look at this detailed article that I wrote for this sole purpose.
Besides the phonics app, I have also published phonics flashcards that can be easily printed, cut, and used. Have a look at them here.

I hope you like this effort. All my PDFs are high-quality and you just need to print and use them. Best of all, all my resources are free. Please share about my work with friends and family 😊
