Reading Comprehension Worksheets about Winter (Grade 1)
Hello friends,
There are four seasons in a year: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Every season has its own charm. Playing in the park is more beautiful in spring with all the flowers 🌸🌸🌸growing around you. The mesmerizing hues of the autumn leaves 🍁🍁🍁leave no heart unaffected. However, there is something magical about winter ❄️ ❄️ . It may be the snow or it may be that Christmas comes in winter or it may just be the world getting ready for a new year. Winter is definitely special and something to celebrate.
So, winter is here and it is time to have some fun! The landscape has turned white with the beautiful, fluffy snow. Make snow angels or snowmen ☃️ or have a snowball fight with your children. By the way, I saw this great deal for a snowman-making kit so thought that I should share it with you:
Also, how about some fun reading and writing in this magical season? I have made these interesting worksheets for reading and writing about winters for grade 1-2-aged children. Download the high-quality PDF, print it out on A4 or letter paper, and make your children do some fun learning 😊.
If you like doing worksheets with your children, then as a parent I would personally recommend purchasing an ink tank printer such as HP Smart-Tank 6001 Wireless Cartridge-Free all-in-one printer. There are no cartridges just ink bottles and believe me, we have been using the printer constantly for the last 3 years with no refills.
I am in love with how economical and efficient these new ink tank printers are; the printer has made my life so much easier as I don't have to rush to the market to get printouts and the printer doesn't even require refills (for at least 2 years): a win-win situation! The following printer is available on Amazon so just click here to purchase it from the comfort of your home and get it delivered to your home easily and conveniently.
And a printer is incomplete without a set of economical A4 size printer paper. Do check out this great deal by Amazon: 500 sheets of A4 sized printer paper, a must in my home!
You can also do these worksheets orally if the children are not interested in writing 😉
(Note: Make sure that you check the checkbox for Scale to fit in the 🖨️ printer's settings to get it exactly like the below images)
If you like these season-themed worksheets, you can check out my summer, winter, and spring-themed reading comprehension worksheets too as they are also cute, colorful, and easy to read for young children.
