What is Force for Kids

Hello friends,

I am back with a small booklet on Science covering a very important topic: What is Force for Kids. The booklet is for grades 1-2 aged children.

I have covered the following topics in it:

  • I have introduced the concept of force to the children.
  • I have defined what it means and provided examples of force in their daily life, For instance, the force they use to push or pull objects, such as opening a door, pushing a chair, or throwing a ball.

  •  I have covered the main types of force:  push and pull and have tried to explain the concepts using cute pictures.
  • I have also talked a bit about two forces of nature i.e. wind and water and how they use push and pull to make our lives easier.
I have not talked about gravity and friction in these worksheets as I feel that these concepts are quite complicated for six or seven-year-olds. I plan to cover advanced concepts of force in a later booklet. I hope you like this little booklet.

If you regularly do worksheets with your children, then as a parent I would personally recommend purchasing an inktank printer such as Canon's megatank printer. I am in love with how economical and efficient these new ink tank printers are; the printer has made my life so much easier as I don't have to rush to the market to get printouts and the printer doesn't even require frequent refills: a win-win situation! The following printer is available on Amazon so just click here to purchase it from the comfort of your home and get it delivered to your home easily and conveniently.

I hope you like this effort. All my resources are free. Do share it with friends and family if you like my work 😊
You can also support me by buying me a cup of coffee so that I continue making such resources. Thank you in advance :)
